Counselling is a process where you can explore and understand your Mental Health concerns with a trained therapist. It involves working on your thought, and behavioral patterns as well as understanding the reasons behind those patterns. The goal of Counselling is to find the balance that was disrupted due to unresolved problems. It also involves application of a number of therapies as well as therapeutic techniques that become key in finding resolutions.
The therapist is the mental health professional who goes under extensive and years of training to identify faulty thought patterns or belief systems and they assist the client through their concerns. They help clients to recognize their goals, deep-rooted trauma, help them on managing the physical symptoms of mental health concerns and assist with finding long-term resolutions.
